Star_carriers_logo_sharpene.gifDid you know that every time you fly with the Star Alliance™ member airlines, you’re actually flying with part of the world’s biggest airline network? The Star Alliance network is now even bigger as South African Airways and Swiss International Air Lines joined in April 2006.

The Star Alliance network was formed in 1997 to provide customers with greater benefits than each member airline could provide alone. The network’s global coverage has now increased, serving 842
airport destinations in 152 countries, with over 15,500 flights daily. www.staralliance.com

Frequent Flyer Programmes

With the Star Alliance network, every time you fly, you can earn miles – no matter which of our member airlines’ frequent flyer programmes you belong to. Which in turn means that you can earn and redeem miles for award travel and build status across all 18 member airlines

Once you’ve earned enough miles, you’ll be eligible for either Star Alliance Silver or Gold status and recognised as a valuable customer whenever you travel on a Star Alliance member airline.
